A purportedly fragmentary collection of 41 satires with the title Satyra Crisis from 1657 (author: Jakob Balde). Satires that are difficult for a contemporary readership to understand due to a lack of background knowledge are presented here for the twenty-first century with an edition, translation, and commentary.
