The objective of the thesis is to compare the power of the programming languages R and Python with regard to the implementation of selected advanced statistical analysis methods.
Naturally, such a choice must be limited and not least subjective in nature.
In the further course of the study, the following advanced methods are focused on:
•Bayesian Hierarchical Models (BHM)
•Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) Simulation
•Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)
•Gaussian Process Regression (GPR)
•Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for Topic Modeling
•Hidden Markov Models (HMM)
•Copula Models for Multivariate Dependence
