The project examines thermodynamic processes of phase change in architecture through material and aesthetic practices of heat modulation. Bringing together historical analysis, design and engineering, it offers a framework for designing with heat as a critical phenomenon of the climate crisis – attuning to the temperature cycles of the environment.
