The need for strategic thinking and action is glaring in times of multiple crises. However, there is a need to clarify a contemporary concept of strategy. This book is dedicated to this task by addressing current challenges in society and politics and outlining strategic responses. To this end, experts analyse the current challenges in politics and society, outline the initial situation and discuss concrete approaches to strategy development and its implementation in their contributions.
The impetus for this anthology was provided by the School of Strategic Thinking, a joint initiative of the Centre for Applied Policy Research at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Klaus Höchstetter Foundation.
